We have an abundance of illness in our church, including several who have tested positive for the coronavirus. Because of this, we will be cancelling our services at the church this Sunday, November 22nd.
We will still hold Discipleship Hour on Zoom. That will begin at 9:15 and we will be going through Psalm 23. You can access Discipleship Hour here: https://us02web.zoom.us/j/81121633190?pwd=Y2NUQ0xpUzBqdE1zdi9XR3FDZzBBZz09 Sundays are a gift from God. He wisely established public gatherings to refresh us in His Word, and with His people. Since we will not gather this Sunday, we encourage you to take some time to be refreshed in God’s Word. You might have a time of family worship, watch another church service online, or maybe read through a book of the Bible. If you have any needs at all, please reach out to us: https://www.cbcwallace.org/help.html In light of the uptick of coronavirus cases in our community, and several having it in our church, the elders wanted to send out a message to you. Lord willing, we will regather in person for our discipleship classes on Wednesday, August 5th at 6:00 PM.
This video details our regathering plans and class options for you (both in person and virtual). How will we practice the Lord's Supper while taking precautions with the coronavirus?
Pastor Dave will walk you through how we will do it, but also why we do it. Regarding the sermon series on the Lord's Supper Pastor Dave mentioned, here are the links: In this pastoral update, Pastor Dave will share with you information about many of our summer events.
Vacation Bible School... is it going to happen? Camp on the Road... what in the world? The Lord's Supper... may it be! Outdoor worship service and picnic... yes, it's happening! Member's meeting... it was postponed, but when will we do it? Phase 3 of reopening - our midweek gathering... when will this begin? The video below will explain when and how we will begin regathering for public worship. NOTE: it is not mentioned explicitly in the video, but we will continue live-streaming the service.
